Our visit to Ait Ben Hadou Ouarzazate is organized in small groups which do not exceed 17 tourists mainly individual travelers, couples or small groups of travelers sharing the same values. The visit is lively and economically advantageous for the costs are shared.
A few hours of driving from Marrakech, there is the citadel village of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO world heritage.
From Marrakech, you will take the magnificent Tichka Pass road (2600m) from which you can admire the foothills of the Atlas. Once passing by, you dive to Ouarzazate. The landscape changes completely, while it was green, it becomes arid.
A few kilometers from the pass, to the direction of Telouët and kasbah of Grand Chief Glaouï, who dominated the Atlas for decades.
After visiting the Kasbah, you will take the road that goes down the historical valley of Ounila to Ait Benhaddou.
You will have a few hours to discover this beautiful village that is perched on a hill. Here, all the houses are made of rammed earth and dominate the valley which served as a passage for the caravans that come from the desert.
Then return to Marrakech by the paved road.
Departure and return to your hotel or Riad in the city center
